When you were a child, you had a vivid imagination. You likely had invisible friends that you played with in an unseen play-land where everything was magical and anything was possible. As you got older, your imagination grew to a more advanced level, and the things you imagined became things you longed to do in your future. But somewhere along the way, someone began to tell you that you were just crazy; that your head was in the clouds, and whatever was going on in your mind was "just your imagination". For some reason; imagination wasn't valid and dreams weren't legitimate anymore.
Satan is the enemy of our soul and his purpose in the world is to steal from you. He has spirits assigned to you to cause you to think small. He doesn't want you thinking about big plans, let alone entertaining notions of actually following through; especially if it means doing big things for God and His people.
Genesis 11:6 says that nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. God is the one who drops those images and ideas in our thinking; but all too often because they seem ridiculous and appear outlandish and impossible, we let fear and doubt cause us to think it's the devil and we reject it. This is why it's so important to allow the Lord to renew your mind to the truth of His goodness. Matthew 19:26 says with God, ALL things are possible; not "some"... ALL things.
If you’ve had dreams that someone said you can’t do; it’s because the
enemy has killed their dreamer. Are you tired of the enemy gaining territory in your life? Don’t allow the enemy to kill your dreams too just because the world and its influences say it's not legitimate. God has given you gifts, He has given you a vision,
and He has given you the passion and desire for your dreams to be your reality.
Do not be afraid; God gives God-sized dreams on purpose, so we will trust in HIM to bring them to pass. In fact, if your dreams are something you can accomplish, they aren't big enough! It is time to start dreaming again! I encourage you to silence the voices of pessimism, resist the lies, and bring your childlike imagination back! I dare you to believe for something beyond yourself; beyond your bank account balance, beyond your physical limitations, beyond your current circumstances, and beyond your old ways of thinking!
