Revelations of Grace

SALVATION and YOUR NEW NATURE
As a Christian, you are saved by grace through faith. You receive salvation by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth; you’ve been sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. You are not saved by your deeds; likewise, salvation is not revoked by your deeds. Your salvation isn't based on what you do; it's based on what Jesus did! Righteousness is not something you do or accomplish; it’s who you are, your new DNA. Salvation is not based on whether or not you feel saved or act saved; salvation is based on the act of only one man, and that’s Jesus.

SAVIOR AND LORD
Jesus is your savior; redeeming you from the death sentence into eternal life, and His abundant life while on earth. Jesus wants to also be your Lord; He wants you to trust Him to have control of your life because He’s a loving Father who knows what’s best for you and He wants to protect you from the enemy.

SIN
Sin is evil. God cannot be in the presence of sin because He is holy, and it hurts His people. Sin did separate us from Him; but, Jesus took your sin (in action and deed) on the cross. He took your sin nature on the cross, and He took your punishment for both on the cross. In return for taking your sin and sin nature, He gave you His righteousness and forgiveness; past, present, and future forgiveness. You have already “died to yourself”. You have been crucified with Christ, sin in your flesh has been condemned, and you are now free from your old sin nature; given a new nature of righteousness, in Christ.

REPENTANCE

Repentance does not mean to ask forgiveness; it means to change your mind. As a Christian, every time you change your mindset from what you used to believe, to what God says is the truth; you’ve just repented. IF you sin; God says come boldly to His throne of grace and RECEIVE the forgiveness He already gave. You don’t have to ask for something you already have. Jesus’s last words on the cross were, “It is finished”; He only died for your sin once and will not die again.

HOLINESS
Holiness is fruit of the spirit; only achievable by allowing the Holy Spirit to work within you to establish His grace in your heart. You cannot and will not achieve holiness by trying to do holy things.

GOD’S COMMANDS
Everything God commands of us is only achievable by faith; by receiving what Jesus already accomplished for us. Jesus’s new commands for us in the new covenant are to believe in Him and love one another as He has loved us. We receive His love and trust Him to love others; faith working through love. Everything He commands and everything He promises is only achieved and received by faith; for without FAITH, it is impossible to please Him. Abraham and his descendants (which includes you) receive their inheritance through the righteousness of faith.

The gospel of grace is so profound that it's teachings are limitless, but I've included some articles below to further reveal simple truths about God's grace.
