Why Not Every Believer is a Co-Heir with Christ

God’s love is unconditional; it’s based on His love for you, not your behavior. As a believer, there is nothing that can separate you from the love of God; once you receive His son, you are sealed eternally in Christ. The blessings found in Christ are also available, but they're not all true for every saint.

There are certain blessings that you automatically receive as a child of God; salvation into heaven and the spirit of His son for example. However, the blessing of Abraham; that blessing comes only by faith. One aspect I want to focus on; which also requires an overlooked aspect, is being a co-heir with Christ. I used to believe that just because you're saved that meant you were a joint heir with Christ. After the Holy Spirit revealed His truth in scripture; I discovered I was wrong.

The reason not every believer is a co-heir with Christ is because not every believer wants to suffer. Romans 8:16-17 reads, "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together."

There are many misconceptions about the definition of suffering; suffering "with Christ" does not mean you struggle to pay your bills or you had a bad breakup. The Holy spirit showed me that suffering with Christ means surrendering to God's will and following Him through trials, testing, and persecution; developing the necessary character to handle your call. There are degrees of course; in Matthew 13:8 it's possible to receive 30 or 60 fold. Sadly, if you have a 30 or 60 fold belief system, you'll never achieve 100 fold inheritance; the full potential God designed you for. You'll only be able to receive what you have the faith for; which is why it's vital to renew your mind by hearing the truth of God's character and what He wants to do for you.

If you don't believe God's healing is for you; then you won't live healed. If you don't believe the angels God assigned to you are stronger than your dog or your gun; then you won't be fully protected by the Lord or your gun. If you don't believe God wants you to prosper materially; you won't have the material things He wants you to have.

Romans 4:13 tells us as children of God, you are an heir of the world; everything that belongs to Him, belongs to you. But the only way to receive that kind of glory is to endure the divine suffering necessary in order for you to believe it, receive it, and walk in authority over it.
