From a heart of faith, it is vital the words you speak out of your own mouth; but it is equally vital what you hear others saying to you. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God; if your friends, co-workers, close circles, or even family members are not speaking words of life according to God's truth, your faith will not grow.
Many of you didn't pursue your dreams for that very reason; the people in your life said things that went against it. Maybe they told you your gift wasn't a real career. Maybe they told you that you should have a backup plan. Maybe they told you to use your gift as a side hobby. Whatever they spoke, it was likely because the same thing was said to them or they themselves didn't pursue their own dreams.
Use wisdom with who you allow to be in your life and who you surround yourself with. Don't let just anybody speak into your life. Don't allow pessimistic mindsets and people with lesser faith than you, in your life. Fellowship with people who give LIFE to you and your dreams; not people who kill them. If you want increase in your life; be aggressive with your boundaries.
In Luke 1:41, Mary
went to visit Elizabeth who was pregnant. As soon as Elizabeth heard Mary’s
greeting; her baby leaped in her womb and she was filled with the Holy Spirit! IF YOUR DREAMS ARE DORMANT...YOU’RE AROUND THE WRONG PEOPLE.
