If you are a believer, there is GREAT news! God can never be mad at you! God WILL NEVER be angry, upset, or disappointed with you; He can’t be, and He promised his
children that He will never be angry with them again.
Isaiah 54, after He tells us in Isaiah 53 what Christ had to suffer for us, tells us that God will never be angry with us because of what Christ has accomplished for us. On the cross, God poured out all of his anger on the body of His son. He sacrificed His only son so He could never be angry with you again. When Jesus was on the cross his final words were “It is finished.”
When something is
finished you cannot add to it. Not only have your sins already been forgiven,
but Jesus already took the punishment for your sins on the cross! Because our
God is holy and just, He will not punish you for something that is already
done. God is not angry with you EVER! ALL of your sins ARE forgiven and
the punishment was already taken for them on Jesus; past, present and future!
HALLELUJAH!
You are righteous because of who you are, which is Jesus. NOT
because of what you do, not because of how you feel, not because of how you
respond. Who you are, is based on your gene pool; NOT your thoughts and actions. Praise God!
