There are so many truths that are presented in scripture, but for the sake of this article, I'll be referencing Romans and Galatians; what the bible DOES say and what it DOES NOT say.
ROMANS 10:4
It Says
"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes."
It Does Not Say
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who obeys the law and follows the commandments.
ROMANS 8:7
It Does Say
"For the sinful nature (Flesh) is always hostile to God. It never did obey God's laws and it never will."
It Does Not Say
For the sinful nature (Flesh) is always hostile to God, but it must obey God's laws and commandments.
GALATIANS 2:16
It Does Say
“Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.”
It Does Say
“Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law.”
It Does Not Say
Yet we know that a person is made right by obeying all the commandments. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our obedience to the laws and commandments; for that is the only way to be made right with God.
It Does Say
"I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die."
It Does Not Say
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then we must obey the law and commandments if we want to be righteous and holy.
