I met a young man last night who asked, “Who is God?” After
allowing him to open up, he revealed a lot of evil and unjust things that happened
to him. Stereo-typically, he wanted to know if there really is a God
then where was he while all these bad things were happening to him. Listening to his story; the details
had similarities to mine, and I had great compassion. This caused me to be so
grieved for how many people this has happened to, and angry at the devil for
his tactics.
The number one reason I’ve personally heard why people don’t
want to believe in God is because they blame him for the bad things that happen. Satan has been doing this for Millenniums; if he can get you to blame
God then he knows you won’t want Him. The body of Christ is not exempt; many
people may have received Christ, but they still blame the Lord for the bad
things that happen and therefore don't trust Him. I used to also, which is why I can relate; but since I
learned the truth, I want others to learn it so badly.
God is love and He is incapable of anything but Love towards
His people. But we are the ones that need our minds renewed to what love really is;
not the skewed version we’ve been believing. Satan is real; he is
evil, and his plans are to steal, kill, and destroy you. These are not just empty words we quote; it’s real. There are armies of demons and demonic spirits
at work non-stop to mess with our minds so we’ll see God wrongly and not trust
Him; he knows this takes us more and more out from under God’s protection.
Everything God is and has is available to everyone, but we
have to choose it. It’s in your best interest to choose Him or these evil
things will continue to happen. In the meantime, while the devil has tricked
you into blaming God, he’s also laughing at you because you fell for it. Give
God a chance; let Him show you who He really is and who the devil really is. When He tells you the truth; choose to believe it and trust Him, otherwise the
enemy beat you, and that’s not your DNA.
