As He Is, So are We!

1 John 4:17 says this, "Love has been perfected among us in this, that we may have boldness on the day of judgement because as He is, so are we in this world." So are we...where; in heaven? When we die? No, so are we IN THIS WORLD. Who you are and your standing in Christ is now based on Jesus, not you! Is Christ righteous? So are you in this world!

Who is "He"? Jesus! Where is He now? He has died for our sins, He rose from the dead, He is at the father's right hand; crowned with glory and honor. As He is; all authority given to him in heaven and earth. As He is; far above all principalities and powers. Is he clear of all sin? So are we in this world! Is He clear of all judgement and punishment? So are we, in this world! Is He loved? So are we in this world! Is He free from all sickness? So are we in this world! Is He with unlimited resources? So are we in this world! Is Christ accepted by God? So are we in this world! Is He FREE from ALL condemnation? So are we in this world!

Are you questioning you're behavior when something bad happens; "I got a flat tire, is this God telling me something?" "My cell phone won't work, is this God talking to me?" "Our power went out, is God trying to tell us something?" Jesus doesn't get flat tires and His power never goes out. As He is, so are we in this world! Stop looking at your own actions and look at Jesus on the cross. Can Jesus incur God's wrath, no! Neither can we incur God's wrath in this world! When God looks at you, He sees Jesus...HALLELUJAH! Be encouraged to seek and meditate on all that JESUS is because AS HE IS, SO ARE YOU IN THIS WORLD!
